a classic one. how many times i've been listening and learning to this music. we were sitting in the room, studiin' some i-dont-know anatomy or plant taxonomy stuff, and this TAPE was rolling. now i thought it's time to archive these moments and bought the CD. great evergreen downtempo tunes from 1995. one of the most determining music i ever had.

project name: get to know your vinyls. i've got the two ep's since ferbruary. now i got the album too. and that's my kind of taste. easy beats, very clever arrangement, lot of instrumental parts, silky female voice and the guy of freak power, ray and christian-like dramatical tunes, down downtempo, micatone and zero7 in one, and a great hidden track at the end, well done, five stars.

dj caretaker knows me, i said. this lp from 1996 (!) touched me really. after yesterdays heavy hip-hop set of dj dsl in MokCuk this guys music (defined as acid jazz... remember this word?) was just fresh as a vanilla icecream with strawberry sirup. k, i agree, every tune is like the other, fine-cut hip hop beats, saxophone and flute chasing eachother, but i liked. i think i should buy it. but after spending 15.000 HUF in one week for books and records, i left this old grey ubiquity vinyl in the store with broken heart.

dj caretaker's advice. i must say, it wasn't so good for the first time, i was hoping. first you need tubes in your equipment (dopamin's say) then a cup of tea, green thee, and a nice magazine with pictures from exotic places. then it'll be perfect. this is true modern jazz. i mean not rabbit-jazz, but true old fashioned jazz made in 2001. some of the tunes are really heavy, they aren't kiddin', but there are some for the beginners too. ps. it's a strange thing visiting more record shops during the day. i thought the main question in a record shop is the big supply. well, i think i was wrong. i couldn't love a record shop where i get a reaction like "mardi what?" (like it happened in deep) i love stores where the seller guy knows inmediatly where to look at, and gives me at the same time three more vinyls. in arfophilia you get this kind of service. dj caretaker knows you.

you can tell me, this's just another record from the past, and it's like taking a tour into the good old golden years, when we were young and boheme and when we were listening to big beat records like fatboy slim or freestylers. but i couldn't resist when i was checking the third track silly rabbit. i agree it could be a bit old fashioned by now, but you will move your feet i swear. and the two other tracks: the housy röyksopp sound and the melancholic burgalat remix with marc almond... i think i wasn't wrong with my choice today.

I swear, Annie, it's the second track, and it seems to me, nothing's changed. you're still that 40+ disturbed, loveley, sentimental woman, and i'm still mad about you. it's the third track and i think it's a miracle if somebody can give you the same emotions after all the years. your quiet soft voice, the electronical arrangement you use... i wish i were 6 years younger so i shouldn't feel ashamed that i am still crazy for what you do. and yeah, i like the picture on the CD too. you can not drive me away. i've been waiting for this record since 1995.

oh mhamhhmmmamamama i like beyonce's new look. she's like j_lo. great style, nice outfit, but most of all.. beyonce is attractive. ehmm.. yeah. music. i love when pop songs got a difficult bassline, sophisticated arrangement, something different than the other, but still a pop song, like j-lo, justin timberlake, craig david, sugarbabes and beyonce does. i hope that this one will contain an instrumental version with an XXXL poster.
